The Tomorrow Fund's 18th Annual Camp Dotty is being offered to Hasbro Children's Hospital's oncology patients and siblings, 4 to 7 years old. Camp Dotty provides young campers the opportunity to experience activities that are fun and age-appropriate while ensuring that their healthcare needs are met.
The Tomorrow Fund generously sponsors Camp Dotty in collaboration with Hasbro Children's Hospital's Child Life Services and local donors. There is NO COST to families; lunch and snack will be provided daily as well as some Camp attire. Child Life Services oversees all activies and supervises registered Hasbro Children's Hospital volunteers, who have experience with and, in many cases, know the children from volunteering in the playrooms. To ensure the well-being and safety of all campers, the counselor-to-camp ratio is 2 adults to 3-5 children, based on the individual needs of each child.
This year Camp Dotty will be held Monday through Friday, August 1-5, 2016. The week will be filled with special visits from entertainers, arts and crafts projects, and lots of games in Hasbro's Garden. In addition to the activities held on Hasbro grounds, we will also take a field trip to a fabulous, fun place that is yet to be determined. Monday through Thursday, Camp hours will be 9:30am to 4:00pm. In Camp Dotty tradition, the last day of camp will be Family Fun Day. The celebration, including lunch, will take place on Friday, August 5th, from 9:30am to 1:00pm in the Garden, located on the lower level of the Hasbro Building.
