September is National Childhood
Cancer Awareness Month

The purpose of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is to bring attention to childhood cancer and survivorship issues nationally. This is an opportunity to reach out and educate the public about the prevalence of childhood cancer, the need for greater funding for research and support services and the long-term effects faced by childhood cancer survivors.

Did you know?
On average, 36 children are diagnosed with cancer everyday in the United States
Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under the age of 15
