ABOUT MY GIVING PAGE

This is the 9th year for the Volley For Tomorrow.  It is a 60-hour continuous volleyball tournament where teams play in a six-hour block starting at noon on Friday July 26th and ending at midnight on Sunday July 28th.  

 

This year in addition to staying awake for 60 hours, I will also be fasting for 60 hours.  Why?  First off, to pay it forward:  The Tomorrow Fund helped my family when my nephew Alex had cancer twenty-two years ago.  To show my eternal gratitude, I continue to fundraise for the Tomorrow Fund.  And second:  To be reminded how it feels when someone you love has cancer.  It's hard to eat and hard to sleep.

Event Start - Noon on Friday July 26th

Event End - 11:59pm on Sunday July 28th

Location - Mulligan's Island, 1000 New London Ave, Cranston, RI

 

Technically this is a T-shirt fundraiser with a crazy volleyball tournament.  If you make a donation before June 1st of $35 or more, then you will receive an Event T-shirt.  Please put your unisex size in the donation comment.  All donations after June 2nd of $35 or higher will also have their choice of Event T-shirts that is available.

 

All T-shirts can be picked up at the volleyball courts at any time during the event.  To get to the courts, park your car, walk the asphalt path that runs between the driving range and mini golf.  Turn right at the batting cages and the volleyball courts are directly in front of you, down the hill.
